Explore the possibilities of decentralized identity
The Company Register serves as the central online platform for legally significant corporate data. It consolidates all official company information in one place and provides electronic access to stakeholders in a structured and reliable manner.
As the Bundesanzeiger Verlag, our mission is to provide officially verified business information and we see it as our responsibility to make this available through reliable digital processes.
We are acknowledging this responsibility by helping develop the European Business Wallet with the aim of redefining trust in digital identification throughout the EU.
Officially verified business information as the basis for trust
As Bundesanzeiger Verlag, our mission is to provide officially verified business information and make it available through reliable digital processes.
This is the decisive contribution we bring to the European Business Wallet: regulatory expertise, access to legally relevant company information and practical experience in trusted digital publication and verification processes.
Officially verified data
Company information from reliable and legally relevant sources can become reusable digital evidence.
Regulatory expertise
The Wallet is designed in a context where legal requirements, public administration and digital business processes meet.
Reliable digital processes
The goal is to make verified business information usable for KYB, compliance, onboarding and public-sector procedures.
With the European Business Wallet, the Commission intends to streamline business-to-business and business-to-government interactions, enabling secure data exchange while creating new opportunities for trust service providers.
The new European LSP “WE BUILD” is the top consortium to generate the critical mass for the definition of industry requirements along real B2B use cases with regard to compliance automation such as KYC, KYS, KYB, cybersecurity, innovation, geopolitics and AI automation to support the reshaping of the legislative process e.g. the architectual reference framework for the use of the EUBW.
